Book Readings at the LYOX Gallery
Sydney Authors Inked presents 'Book Readings' at the LYOX Gallery, located at 17 Lyons Rd, Drummoyne. This event runs from Sunday, July 20, to Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM daily. During this time, you’ll have the opportunity to meet local authors as they read excerpts from their latest works.
A Celebration of Local Talent
Each day, one local author will take the stage. Their reading is sure to spark your imagination and elevate your love for books. You’ll discover authors from various genres, from contemporary fiction and crime to historical and science fiction.

Writers at the Pub - An Interactive Experience
Starting on August 6, 2025, Sydney Authors Inked will also present 'Writers at the Pub' in the exquisite Residence Room at The Oxford Hotel, conveniently located next to the LYOX Gallery. This event occurs on the first Wednesday of each month, to continue through to December 2025.
Engaging Discussions and Inspiring Stories
At the inaugural August event, contemporary fiction author Maria P Frino will be in conversation with Eric Kok, a science fiction writer. These lively discussions are ideal for both readers and aspiring authors. Expect interviews and panel discussions focusing on the writers' journeys, insights about books, what readers want, and the publishing process.
At 'Writers at the Pub', attendees can enjoy an afternoon meal or a drink. The bar will be open, creating a relaxed atmosphere to discuss books and writing. Readers will have the chance to meet local authors, browse, and buy their books after the discussions.
