Our First Author Event was Fabulous

We hosted our first author talk on Sunday 10 September 2023 from 10 am to 12 noon at

The Little Big House, 16 Flour Mill Way, Summer Hill.

Sydney Authors Inked is a group of authors based in Sydney. We host #free #author #talks at The Little Big House in Summer Hill, Sydney. During each event, two authors discuss their books, writing, reading, publishing, and their author journey.

Conchita and I were pleased with everyone who attended, they were eager to learn.

This first author event was fabulous and saw a group of eager emerging writers learn about what a writer's journey can look like and they received tips on how to self-publish with Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP).

Conchita GarSantiago and I were pleased to answer questions after our talks, the attendees were keen to learn more. We were also pleased with the amount of people who came to our first event, we certainly appreciated the interest in what we had to say. We would like to thank all of you who attended our first event and who indicated wanting to be kept informed about our future events.

A Writer's Journey

Our next event is on Sunday 12 November 2023 and we look forward to even more people attending who are keen to learn about #writing and #publishing. The two authors speaking will be announced soon.

Sydney Authors Inked is a collective of local authors who want to give back to those who aspire to be writers. At these events, we will impart some of our knowledge of publishing. We're here to help you navigate the sometimes slippery slope that is the publishing industry.

Authors may have their books available for sale and a light morning tea may be offered.

Note: Only the two authors speaking will sell their books, no other books will be offered for sale.

In 2024 we will showcase other Sydney authors with interviews, these will be special events so we'll keep you informed about these as well as our talks.
