Another Successful Sydney Authors Inked Event

On Sunday 7 April 2024, we held another fabulous free event at The Little Big House, Summer Hill. This successful Sydney Authors Inked event featured Conchita GarSantiago who spoke about historical fiction and how to write in this genre. Then we heard from Rachel Lim from www.coverpalette.com who had provided the delicious light lunch and gave attendees flyers offering $100 for book cover designs and packages.

After we enjoyed the food, it was my turn to be in conversation with Hayley Walsh, author of light-hearted fiction. Hayley also happens to be one of the Sydney Authors Inked committee members, so she is a hard-working self-published author. Like the other committee members, Hayley gives her time free to help emerging authors learn this amazing creative craft. Below is a short video of our chat, which was full of humour and great tips.

The next event we have is on this Saturday 20 April from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm at Concord. If you're a reader and book lover, we'll see you there. Come and chat with us local authors and buy a book or two. Also, remember that Mother's Day is happening next month and books make great gifts.
